2014 BBQ Picnic and Pool Party a Huge Success

The 2014  Annual BBQ Picnic and Pool Party at the Manor Park Swim Club in Westfield was a huge success. . A large crowd of members, families and friends turned out to enjoy the day.  Thanks to Chairman Vincent Nardone and his committee of Al Attanasio, Pete Serrone, Nick Incanella, Gary Cantagalo, R.J. Giannetti, Dominick Schulz , Jack Patuto, John Marcelli, Anthony Magnotta, Nat Faronea and  Michael Trama for working hard for two days to make the event top notch. The attendees enjoyed sausage & pepper sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken, hamburgers, clams, skirt steak and much more. Rose Minoughan and her team kept the kids busy with fun and games while the adults enjoyed music and a great day. The Society recognized our friends from the Italian fraternal groups within the NYPD, Port Authority PD, National Council and our police surgeons Dr. Brian Mignola and Dr.Ray Catania. Thanks to the Mountainside Fire Department for the use of their facilities and members as well. As always our friends at Appetito Sausage, Gargulo Produce and the Manor Park Swim Club’s generosity made the day a home run.
