2018 Columbus Day Parades – October 6, 7, & 8

Columbus Day Observance


With today’s issues concerning Christopher Columbus,  please show your support by marching in in our
Columbus Day Parades.

In addition to the Morris County & the NYC Columbus Day Parade, (see below) We are also participating in the Jersey City Columbus Day Parade.   
The Grand Marshals for this year’s Parades are both IAPSNJ Members.
 
On behalf of the Columbus Day Committee we are honored to announce the 2018 Parade honorees. 2018 IAPSNJ Columbus Day Parade Queen Miss Maeghan Grace Serrone of Phillipsburg High School.
2018 IAPSNJ Parade Grand Marshals Sergeants Alan Imperiale & Dominic Imperiale in honor of our late Vice President Alfonse Imperiale.
 

 
Saturday, October 6th  Jersey City Columbus Day Parade
 
Marchers and police vehicles should assemble at Dickinson High School located at Newark & Palisades Avenues in Jersey City at Noon. Marchers should be in department uniform or business attire to march.
 
Sunday, October 7th   Morris County Columbus Day Parade

Marchers and police vehicles should assemble at the East Hanover Fire Department at Ridgedale Ave. & De Forest St. at 1:30 PM. Marchers should be in department uniform or business attire to march.
 
 
Monday, October 8th     NYC Columbus Day Parade
 
Marchers and police vehicles should meet at the Port Authority Police Administration Bldg at 500 Boulevard East, Weehawken, NJ at 9:00 am in department uniform or business attire.personal cars can be parked at the PAPD until we return. We will be joining the NYPD Columbia Assn for lunch afterwards in NYC.
 
 
Family members are more than welcome to march with us dressed in smart attire. No sweats or jeans please as the parade is shown live in WNBC Channel 4 NYC
 
Any department able to bring vehicles or motorcycles please contact us via e mail President@iapsnj.org prior to coming.

Weather Concerns:
In the event of inclement weather on Sunday which would make our participation in the Morris County Parade a hardship for our honorees (parade convertible vehicles).  We will inform our membership via Facebook & Twitter..
