Directions for Night at the Races (New Backyard Venue)

Starting with the 2014 Night at the Races, we are in the New Outdoor Recreation area called The Backyard.  It comprises of 3 areas.   House of Que, Little Town, and the Playscape.  The Meadowlands does not have any specific directions they could give us, but our Races Chairman Joe Simonetti has taken a ride and recorded his route.  Below is that route, but we do not know how the signage or roadway flow will be on Race Night (June 27th), so Please allow enough time to get there on time..

To get to the “BACKYARD” gate entrance you have to make a right hand turn after the horse stables of the track.  This turn would be the next right past the turn we made last year.  Follow signs that say “Racing and Entertainment”.  After this right hand turn you will see the new “Club House” on your right and a group of parking lots.  Drive past the Clubhouse and go to the last parking lot in this area.  This is the lot we will use for our event.  When you turn into this lot you will see the gate marked “Backyard”.  Enter this gate and to the left you will see tents, this is our new event location.
