Boycott of Quentin Tarrantino

The Italian American Police Society of New Jersey has joined its brothers and sisters in the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association , New Jersey State Fraternal Order of Police, Port Authority Police Benevolent Association and the NYC PBA in calling for the boycott of films produced by Quentin Tarantino.  The boycott is based on the movie director’s reference to police officers as “murderers” during a recent rally against police brutality.

Our 5,000 members stand firmly opposed to this type of anti-police inflammatory rhetoric. Our nation’s police officers are increasingly becoming the victim of attacks and public figures like Mr. Tarantino have a moral responsibility to use caution to avoid these type of statements”.  said Society President William Schievella.

The Society calls on members and their family to boycott these films and the sponsors that support them.
