• It is with saddness that we announce the passing of Josephine DiPisa. Josephine is the Mother In Law of IAPSNJ member Manny Corte, Union Co. PD and the aunt of IAPSNJ member Dominick Minni, Essex Sheriff (ret).A Funeral Liturgy will be held at Holy Spirit Church, Union, N.J., on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 9:30 a.m. An interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, N.J.
• Deepest sympathy to Ret. Lt. Mike Podolak of the Port Authority of NY/NJ  Police Department on the passing of his son Ryan Podolak,  who passed away suddenly on December 29th, 2011.  Ryan, like his father, was a volunteer for the Special Olympics for many years.
