Rutherford– Francesco Farallo, 77, of Rutherford, passed away on March 4, 2014. He was born in Molfetta, Italy to Mauro and Margherita (nee Sgherza) Farallo. He was the owner of Mama Rosa Pizzeria in Rutherford from 1971 to 1999. Beloved husband of Luisa (nee Magarelli) Farallo. Loving father of Mauro Farallo, Margherita Vezzola and her husband Stephen, and the late Joseph Farallo, who predeceased him in 2007. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Nina, Michael, Angelina, Giulianna, Anthony and Joseph. Also survived by many family and friends.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday March 6, from 4-9 p.m. at Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home, 41 Ames Ave, Rutherford. The funeral will be Friday March 7, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. from the Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home, with funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary RC Church, Rutherford. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
