Ddv Radio is proud to announce our next guest Donna Roman Hernandez scheduled for Sunday February 12. Mrs. Hernandez is a former Police Captain who served 28 years in law enforcement. If that wasn’t amazing enough she is also a multi award winning independent film director, producer, composer and the owner of Blue Force FIlms in New Jersey. One of her films, The Ultimate Betrayal ,was a docu-memoir, it was based on her own 35 year secret of domestic violence in her family. The film is a nine time award winner and is in worldwide distribution. Her passion for story telling has resulted in a total of nine films. We respect Mrs. Hernandez very much, not only because she is a survivor, but because she used her heart wrenching true story to help others overcome what she had endured. Not an easy thing to do, to say the least. Most of the themes of her fiilms involve survival , courage, and overcoming adversity through awareness.. To top it all off most of her works have ties to law enforcement directly or indirectly. She is a very strong and inspirational person and we are truly looking forward to Sunday.
