The Franklin Borough (Sussex Co.) Police Department is currently seeking candidates for the position of probationary police officer.
Requirements include: Resident of NJ and a US citizen; ability to perform all the tasks and duties of a police officer; high school graduate or possess GED and candidates must have an associate’s degree or minimum of 60 completed college credits or have been honorably discharged from active duty from any branch of the US Military; possess a valid driver’s license. Must be of good moral character, and not have been convicted of any criminal offense involving moral turpitude. Certified by the NJ Police Training Commission or have completed (or soon to complete) the Alternate Route Basic course for police officers. Starting salary is $43,839.00.
