Cruisin………on a Sunday Afternoon.
Cruise control is the greatest gas saving tool other than what’s between your ears (not just air). On a average level roadway, like the Garden State Parkway, even at 65 MPH, in a fully loaded GMC Envoy with the air on, you can average up to 25 MPG. Pretty good for a big truck, ( sorry,…..SUV). Cruise on down the road, and keep track of the cars around you. You’ll notice that the ones that blow by you, will be there at the next toll, or exit, or rubber-necking slow down. They didn’t gain that much. Especially on trips of an hour or less.
