Currently, Panasonic Corporation of North America (PNA) is seeking a Group Manager, Corporate Security. The Group Manager, Corporate Security is responsible for the development, implementation, oversight and management of physical security,

asset protection and employee protection programs for PNA in the U.S. and Mexico. In addition, the Group Manager, Corporate
Security also has responsibilities associated with ISM and PIP and managing the 3rd party Records Company.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
CT/PAT
(Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism)

Responsible for managing the overall security program with local Mexican factory and HQ staff, oversee training, liaison with CBP, compliance with program and ensuring that PNA continues to be certified as CT/PAT compliant.
Transportation & Warehouse Security

Responsible for the management, monitoring and oversight of security programs in place at transportation carriers and 3PL warehouses in the U.S. and Mexico; including performing security audits and investigation of cargo theft.

Mexico Security & Consultant


Responsible for employee safety in Mexico and managing the Mexican Security consultant; Interpoint Services.

Travel Security

Responsible for providing travel safety security advice to management and employee travelers and identifying and mitigating travel risks utilizing the iJet Travel Security Service newsletter; including arranging for executive protection (EP) details as the need arises.

ISM/PIP
(Information Security Management/Personal Information Protection)

Responsible, as a member of the Regional ISM Forum to perform ISM/PIP Audits each year, investigate ISM/PIP Incidents and report to the PNA ISM Forum and ISG (Information Security Group) in Japan as necessary, implement and monitor ISM/PIP activities in PNA Finance as the ISM/PIP Professional as well as
provide physical security advice to PNA Facilities.

Corporate
Investigations

Responsible, as directed by PNA Legal and PNA HR, to investigate internal and external issues of potential theft and other sensitive areas as well as liaison with local, state and federal law enforcement.

Emergency
Management Team (EMT) Member


Responsible, as the Incident Manager, to assist top management in handling emergency issues that could have a serious effect on PNA or employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education
& Experience:

  • BS degree required
  • ASIS Security Designations:
    CPP, PCI or PSPI certifications helpful
  • 10-15 years combination law
    enforcement/corporate security management experience
  • Experience in executive protection, emergency management, warehouse and carrier loss prevention, information security, physical security/camera technology, corporate investigations, travel security and CTPAT compliance

  • Contacts include all levels of executives, management, employees and 3rd parties
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing is a key requirement of this position
  • Monthly report writing and communications on travel security, incidents and audits

Other
Requirements:

  • Periodic travel required for CT/PAT to Mexico,
    loss control audits at warehouses, transportation loss investigations, ISM/PIP audits and confidential investigations
