H.R. 218 – The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004

H.R. 218, known as “The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004”, was signed into law on January 20, 2004.  The purpose of the Act is to exempt qualified current and former law enforcement officers from State Laws prohibiting the carrying of concealed handguns.
