Italian American Police Officers to Co Host Italian Flag Raising & Heritage Ceremony

The Italian American Police Society of NJ will be co-hosting an Italian American Flag Raising Ceremony n Sunday, October  4th at 11:o am with the Roma Club, UNIICO and  other Italian organizations.  At this event we will be recognizing the Italian American police officers that have lost their lives in the line of duty. The Roma Sports Club will provide coffee and pastry and there will be Italian food for purchase at a nominal cost along with music. It will be held in Dowling Garden on Mc.Bride Avenue in Woodland Park across the street from the Roma Sports Club. 

Although sadly almost all of the Columbus Day Parades are cancelled mostly due to economic reasons and COVID We felt it was imperative that we have something to celebrate our heritage this year. We can accomplish this at this event while enjoying a day outside. The Borough of Woodland Park is co sponsoring it and we can follow appropriate COVID precautions while enjoying the day.
