Lost phones
Two things are a must for your smart phones.
- Password protect it
- Put a contact number on your Lock Screen. Like “If found, please call 973-555-4545”
This way if a Good Samaritan finds your phone they can contact you so you can get it back.
In the Apple world, remember to back-up to your iCloud and turn on the locate feature in your settings.
How to turn on Find My iPhone for your iPhone or iPad
- Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap on iCloud.
- Tap on Find My iPhone.
- Tap the switch next to Find My iPhone.
