• Meeting called to order by President Schievella.
• President Schievella acknowledged the Port Authority Police department Pat Mangieri for hosting the meeting and various dignitaries in the room,  Essex County Prosecutor D. Compola,  Chief Becker, Essex County Prosecutor, & Dir of PA Police Fred Marrone,  Ret. Chief J. Sisto Rockaway PD, & D. Malley from Harrison PD.
• Correspondence was read by J. Onnembo.

Jersey City Medical Center, &
a letter from Assemblyman Ken Zizza.
• Waived the reading of 19 new members until the February meeting.
• President Schievella spoke about police week in DC May 13, contact Rose.
• Talked about the awards beefsteak on 4/21/01 Sat evening at Caldwell College.
• Officers should be submitting awards to the Chairman Al Attanasio.
• Scholarship applications are being finalized.
• Vest giveaway again at the night at the races on June 28th 2001.
• Talked about the problem with the newsletter that people are not getting them.
• Mike Wassutta talked about the night at the races Thursday June 28, 2001.
• Blood drive at Cedar Grove for the two Orange Officers that were shot.
• VP. Pat Mangieri gave out Officer of the Month to PA officer Sgt. Peter Schillizzi
• Sal Periese and Ray Annis were sworn in a special members.
• President Schievella closed the meeting.
