• Meeting called to order by President Schievella.
• Our Chaplain Father Dave Baratelli gave the benediction.
• 1st Vice President John Lazzara read a list of new members. Motion made by President Schievella to accept new members. Motion passed.
• Financial Vice President Joe Simonetti gave financial report. Motion made by President Schievella to accepts report. Motion passed.
• Trustee Rose Minoughan, spoke to the membership about Police week in Washington DC May 13th to the 15th. She advised the membership that Amtrak Police contacted her and advised her to tell the membership that they need to purchase train tickets for the ride down to Washington. This is because of some unruly behavior by police officers on the train last year. It will be up to the conductor of that train if he wants to let you ride without using your ticket.   There are rooms reserved at the 4 Point Sheridan see or contact Rose (908) 377-9848 for more information.
• President Schievella spoke about the Awards Beefsteak Dinner coming up on Saturday June 1st, 2002 at Caldwell College.  Any officers looking to submit an award please go to the web site and download the application and send it in to the awards Chairman Al Attanasio.
• Financial Secretary Ron Sepe, spoke about the Night at the Races at the Meadowlands Raceway Thursday June 27,2002. Tickets are on sale now for $35.00 per person 18 & older children are $25.00. Contact Ron Sepe for tickets at 973-667-9810. Tickets must be paid for in advance; no tickets will be sold at the door.
