• Meeting called to order by President Schievella.
• Morris County Sheriff Honor Guard posted the Colors.
• High School Senior, Laura Arminte sang the national anthem.
• Trustee Jerry Mantone, acknowledged Chief Erenberg Madison PD & Morris County Sheriff Rochford.
• President Schievella gave the financial report.   Motion made by President Schievella to accepts report.   Motion passed.
• President Schievella, spoke about the convention to Las Vegas Treasure Island Hotel August 26th to the 30th, the cost is $450.00 per person.  Those members wishing to attend must contact Jenny Stewart at Liberty Travel (973) 328-0100 as soon as possible.  Seats have been sold out & they are trying to get more.
• Financial Secretary Ron Sepe, spoke about the night at the races at the Meadowlands Raceway Thursday June 27,2002.  Tickets are on sale now for $35.00 per person 18 & older children are $25.00.  Contact Ron Sepe for tickets at 973-667-9810.  Tickets must be paid for in advance; no tickets will be sold at the door.
• President Schievella spoke about upcoming pension board election.  He advised the membership how important it is to vote on this matter and that the society is backing Bloomfield Police Officer John Sierchio in this election.
• President Schievella spoke about the awards beefsteak dinner coming up on Saturday June 1st, 2002 at Caldwell College. Any officers looking to submit an award please go to the web site and download the application and send it in to the awards Chairman Al Attanasio the cutoff date is May 1st, 2002.  We will also be giving out 10 - $1000.00 scholarships, any one who needs a scholarship application please contact VP Jerry Onnembo.
• Trustee J. Mantone, presented a picture of Ninos to Pete Lamone, who played there for WTC rescue workers.
• President Schievella thanked all members for attending and closed the meeting
