• Meeting called to order by President Schievella.
• President Schievella advised the membership that Father Dave was in the hospital with a possible heart problem.
• 1st Vice President John Lazzara read a list of new members.  Motion made by President Schievella to accept new members.  Motion passed.
• Financial Vice President Joe Simonetti gave the financial report.   Motion made by President Schievella to accepts report.  Motion passed.
• President Schievella spoke about the dinner dance in November & advised all members that no tickets will be sold at the door.
• President Schievella thanked John Cuzzo, Vince Nardone, & Al Attanasio about the success of the first family picnic which was held at the Westfield swim club, in August.
• President Schievella spoke about the Blue Mass being held in November, and to see Vince Nardone for tickets.
• President Schievella spoke about the problems with the NYC Columbus Day parade on Monday 10/14/02, he also advised that we were marching in the Lodi/Garfield Columbus Day Parade on Sunday 10/13/02.
• President Schievella thanked all members for attending and closed the meeting.
