Passing of Paterson Police Officer Francesco Scorpo

Sadly this morning Paterson Police Officer Francesco Scorpo lost his life to the COVID virus at St. Joe’s Hospital. Officer Scorpo, age 36, was a member of our Italian American Police Society of New Jersey who resided in Morris County with his wife and children. He was an amazing police officer, husband and father. President William Schievella had the opportunity to visit Paterson Police HQ this morning to offer my personal condolences and heard so many wonderful stories about Officer Scorpo from his fellow officers. We are saddened by his passing and will always remember him as a hero! Rest In Peace Brother!
