SPECIAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER CLASS II –
HARDING TOWNSHIP Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II. This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $ 16.00 to $40.00 per hour. Applicants must possess a current PTC (Police Training Commission) certification or Class II PTC from a NJ accredited Police Training Academy. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and NJ resident with a valid driver’s license. The applicant must be 18 years or older, not convicted of a criminal offense involving moral turpitude and must be able to perform all tasks/duties of a police officer.
Retired police officers are encouraged to apply. The selection process will consist of oral interviews, background checks, medical/psychological exams and submission of a pre-employment application, cover letter and PTC Certification. Harding Township is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
