You may be asking yourself why UNICEF would need a Security Officer? The position is in Ndjemena, CHAD, bordering countries such as Niger, South Sudan, Sudan, and Central African Republic. Historically, it is a conflict area, and UNICEF staff needs an enhanced security advisory other than the offered by UNDSS. (United Nations Department of Safety and Security).
